Alyssa's painting practice allows her the luxury to speak openly about taboo topics regarding sexuality and identity. Conceptually for Alyssa, the subtleties of watercolour reflect the nuance and intimacy within human sexuality. Alyssa's goal is to create personal art for the collector, as opposed to large scale gallery works for public digestion. Alyssa's
